Our Story
Founding and Development
Sensec AB was founded in the late 1980s by visionaries in the security industry who saw a growing need for advanced security solutions in Sweden and the rest of Europe. In the company's early years, the company focused on offering systems for detection and transillumination, especially for use in airports and other sensitive infrastructure. Over time, Sensec expanded its product range and began to offer more comprehensive security solutions, including training and consulting services.
Expansion and Diversification
During the 2000s, we grew rapidly, both through a broadening of operations as well as global developments in the sector. We began delivering solutions to a broader customer base, including government, defense, the judiciary and private companies.
An important milestone in Sensec's history was the company's listing on Nasdaq First North in Stockholm, which took place in 2017. The listing marked a new chapter in the company's development, with additional capital for expansion and a strengthened position in the market.
